Plant Supervisor - Concrete (Caringbah)

Boral Concrete is currently seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor for their concrete plant based in Caringbah.   The main responsibilities of this position include the batching, loading, materials control, maintenance, safety, and general daily operation of the plant.  This position requires working at various Sydney Metro concrete plants as required. The successful applicant must be available to work Saturdays and out of hours as per business requirements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous supervisory experience along with demonstrated leadership attributes
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills which allow you to effectively communicate with drivers, managers and interdepartmental personnel
  • A demonstrated commitment to improve safety
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to ensure customer and company requirements are met
  • Self motivated, reliable and an ability to show initiative
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to allow you to effectively communicate with drivers, managers and interdepartmental personnel
  • Ability to maintain housekeeping standards and manual handling requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a construction materials supply business or related business
  • Computer skills
  • Previous concrete batching experience(desirable)
