An opportunity is available for a customer centric HSE Coordinator to join the National HSE team of Boral Australia.  We are looking for an adaptable, self-motivated and highly organised professional to support to Boral business and stakeholders with coordination and project support in areas of SIMS and HSEQMS.

In this supporting role, you will manage competing priorities, demonstrate critical thinking and partner with stakeholders to provide solutions and use your advanced MS Excel expertise to enable reporting, quality and accurate data collection, extraction, interpretation and analysis.

About the role:

  • Manage the HSEQMS elements in SIMS so that they are up to date and reflect the current status of the HSEQMS
  • Managing concerns/queries through troubleshooting and implementing resolutions
  • Providing project support in areas of SIMS
  • Completing user acceptance testing throughout various modules including Incidents, Audits and Risk
  • Work with confidential private and sensitive data
  • Management of system assistance hotline, and logging of calls

About You:

  • Current experience in similar HSE role, with solid experience in systems roles
  • A relevant tertiary degree or OH&S diploma
  • Proven ability and experience in an administration/customer focus support role
  • Understanding of incidents, hazards, near misses and audits
  • Superior note taking and typing ability (Capturing support calls and project meeting actions)
  • High level communication skills, verbal and written with an ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (with experience creating pivot tables, charts and formulas), Word and PowerPoint
