Administration Officer - Contracting (Bendigo)

Location: Bendigo, Goldfields & Macedon

Our Asphalt Division at Bendigo is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative support to the Asphalt Contracting business.

Key duties:

  • Project administration, including costing, accounts receivable invoicing and project reconciliation;
  • Enter wages information into the timecard system;
  • Weighbridge operation;
  • Raise purchase orders and process accounts payable invoices through the EAM system; and
  • General office duties such as processing paperwork, filing, archiving etc.

Must have:

  • Proven ability and experience in project administration;
  • Strong people skills and communication skills;
  • Proficient MS Office skills;
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn the cost management system Scenario;
  • Previous experience in the construction industry will be highly regarded but not essential;
  • Strong customer focus;
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines; and
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships within a team environment.
