Based in our Whinstanes, Eagle Farm plant and reporting to the Laboratory Operations Manager, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician, whose primary focus will be on the day to day sampling and testing of Boral concrete products.

Key duties:

  • Manage storage and replenishment of raw material
  • Liaise with Technical Services Management for trial mix request information
  • Produce decorative concrete samples as required
  • Produce Technical trial mixes as requested
  • Facilitate distribution of concrete samples to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with Technical Services Management to facilitate storage and distribution of VAP products infrastructure

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in quality control testing of construction material products (preferable)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality
  • Well-developed analytical skills
  • A strong understanding of NATA requirements (preferable)
  • A Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques will be highly regarded and,
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday and shift work when required.
