The Role 

A fantastic opportunity has become available based at our Widemere Recyling Plant (close to Wetherill Park). We are looking for a dependable Operator to support the team by the safe and efficient operation of mobile plant and its resources.  If you have a passion to learn, continually improve and if you get pleasure out of safe achievements, then maybe it’s worth thinking about a career with Boral as a possibility just for you! 


  • Operating front end loaders, excavators, and other fixed and mobile quarry mobile plant.
  • Operation of processing plants (wash and crushing plants) weighbridge etc.
  • Labouring duties as required
  • Basic maintenance and plant cleaning as required
  • Adhere to all safety requirements

 Skills and experience: 

  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety, health and quality
  • Desire and ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
  • Initiative to make reasoned decisions to optimise operations and equipment efficiency
  • Quarry, recycling or mining operations experience (desirable, but not essential). 
  • FEL and Excavator operator tickets
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Personal drive and a customer focus
