Boral Cement is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Maintenance Mechanic to join our dedicated onsite mobile maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will support maintenance activities to help achieve the highest standards of mobile availability and reliability by carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance activities
Your day will involve:
Perform Preventative Maintenance and inspections
Identify and respond to problems, breakdowns and changes in routine
Use computer systems to work within the maintenance management system
Ability to read and understand schematics
Knowledge and experience with CAT machinery and using CAT SIS
Flexibility to attend Callouts and change of shift if required to suit business needs
What are we looking for?
Experience in heavy Plant Maintenance
Relevant trade certificate in Heavy vehicle or Mobile Plant.
Desirable to possess Cat and Komatsu machinery experience
Experience in maintenance management principles and techniques
Have a strong understanding and commitment to WH&S, including the ability to identify, assess and control hazards in the workplace
HRW Licenses e.g. Dogging, Forklift and EWP will be advantageous or the ability to obtain
Current NSW driver's license
