As the Pricing and Sales Analyst based in North Ryde, you will be given a great opportunity to support all Boral’s business units by providing support to the sales teams regarding pricing related activities.
Your day will involve:
- Play a significant role in pricing governance to ensure quoting behaviour is aligned with budget objectives. You will be a key member of our ‘deal desk’ operation that reviews customer quotes to guarantee sales compliance to pre-determined parameters. This will be approximately 50% of the role.
- Manage the national price review process. This will include customer data compilation, customer communication, internal stakeholder management and key elements of implementation.
- Identify and drive improvements in margin optimisation opportunities.
- Collect, analyse, evaluate and report on commercial data on a periodic and ad hoc basis.
- Maintain the pricing data within our systems.
- The mix of the above tasks will oscillate during a month/year and will likely evolve over time.
What are we looking for?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in the commercial field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in
- Ability to project manage and deliver to timelines
- Capable of managing a wide range of stakeholders and influencing them to create optimal outcomes when objectives are conflicted
- Experience using Tableau (Boral’s system), Power BI and SQL (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving
- Experience in process improvement
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
