Along with on-the-job training, you will be enrolled in a relevant TAFE Electrical course to gain the qualifications needed to succeed. 

As an Apprentice at Boral Cement, you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience working as an Electrical, Mechanical, Fitter or Boilermaker apprentice. In addition to practical training at Boral, you will be enrolled in a nationally recognised TAFE course, giving you the technical knowledge and skills needed to build a successful trade career!

Who Can Apply? 

  • Are at least 17 years of age (minimum). 

  • Have completed Year 10 or equivalent (preferably with strong foundations in maths and science). 

  • Are passionate about electrical work and eager to begin a career in the trades. 

  • Have the ability to balance both on-the-job training and TAFE study commitments.
