An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and proactive individual with a Health & Safety background to step into a Senior Systems Business Partner role reporting into the HSEQ Systems Manager. This role is focused on the delivery of the Health and Safety Annual Work plan and specific health and safety projects in collaboration with the Health and Safety Leadership Team. You will also deliver high quality and timely reporting on the Annual Work plan and projects for input to Executive and Board reporting.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity and candidates can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne.

Your day will involve:

  • Facilitate and lead project teams to deliver projects to scope, time, quality standard and budget.
  • Develop business cases related to health and safety projects or programs as required.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues; and escalate as required to achieve resolution.
  • Deliver specific health and safety projects including IT/system projects, as assigned by the Head of Health and Safety and EGM Enterprise Services and Standards.
  • Providing timely and high-quality project status reporting for input to Executive Committees and Boards.
  • Facilitate and lead change management associated with health and safety projects.
  • Work in partnership with the HSE Reporting Team to deliver high quality reports related to HSE.
  • Analyse and interpret data, and provide insights for key stakeholders including Executive Managers, Safety Forums, Executive Committees and Boards.
  • Prepare high quality reports and presentations for various HSE governance forums.

What are we looking for?

  • Health and Safety background with a proven track record of implementing successful organisation change in a complex environment
  • Ideally 5 years-experience in program and project management in a large/complex organisation.
  • Experience in analysing, interpreting, and presenting large volumes of data in a consumable format for diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use HSE Systems.
  • Experience with liaising and contributing to senior management teams.
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety
  • Lead Auditor qualifications highly regarded.
