As a Data Analyst at Boral, you will play a key role in preparing monthly business reports, supporting various departments with financial data, and developing customized reports and dashboards. You will tackle challenges in a dynamic and complex data environment, ensuring accuracy and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your day will involve: 

• Preparation of monthly business reports including the collection and integration of data and customization of these reports as requested by each department.
• Provide financial data and perform ad-hoc analyses for several Enterprise departments.
• Custom reporting and dashboard creation through the use of Excel – SmartView/Essbase
• Create and maintain Tableau Dashboards to track financial metrics and KPI’s
• Data oversight and query writing
• Supporting asset disposal processes
• Assisting in the development of the ESS Budgets and financial forecast and monitoring financial performance over the year.

What are we looking for? 

• Proven experience in financial data analysis, reporting, or a related role
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint and Tableau.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on financial data interpretation and operational insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail in data handling.
