We are thrilled to present a permanent, full-time opportunity for a dedicated Plant Operator to become an integral part of our dynamic and dedicated team. As the latest addition to our workforce, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure and proficient operation of our quarry's mobile equipment at our Montrose Quarry.

Your day will involve:

• Operation of tipper truck conducting stockpiling operations
• Safe operation of crushing & processing plant
• Basic servicing and maintenance of plant & equipment
• Identify and respond to problems, breakdowns and changes in routine
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Be a self-starter who can work without direct supervision

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate must demonstrate: 

• HR license is desirable but not essential
• Experience in manufacturing, mechanical or quarry operations will be highly regarded
• Ability to safely and effectively carry out multiple roles in an operational environment 
• A strong commitment to safety and the environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with all people 
• Availability and commitment to work Monday to Saturday essential
