Our Boral Asphalt team now have a great opportunity available for a Trade Qualified Mechanic to join our team in Stonyfell, SA 5066.
This role will see you responsible for managing and executing maintenance and repairs on all mobile road surfacing equipment and fixed asphalt plants, both in the field and workshop.
This role may require you to work-day and/or afternoon shifts and traveling between sites as needed.
Your day will involve:
- Maintaining a diverse range of asphalt manufacturing fixed plant and mobile equipment
- Managing workshop equipment, including diagnostic and calibration testing
- Fault finding, using engineering drawings and P&ID’s
- General workshop duties, including stock take and cleaning
- Flexibility regarding day and night shift work
- Adhering to Boral's Workplace Health and Safety requirements
What are we looking for?
- Mechanical Trade qualification – Auto or Diesel Mechanics are encouraged to apply
- MR license
- Experience in maintaining both mobile and fixed plant equipment
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Background in mechanics, hydraulics, and auto electrical systems
