Boral is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our CX (Customer Experience) stream within our Business Applications Team. While the main solution to delivery CX is Salesforce, there are instances of websites, and web developments which ideally the candidate can assist in managing, in collaboration with external support vendors. Reporting to the Business Applications Manager, this is a key role within the team where you will utilise your core consulting and Salesforce technical skills to offer technical knowledge and implementation experience with all core Salesforce tools, offerings and products.
Your day will involve:
- Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, managing customer interactions and developing solutions and providing guidance and mentoring to the wider Business Applications team.
- Lead the design of Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
- Act as the primary technical lead contact for Salesforce sprint work, providing expert guidance and resolving complex issues.
- Collaborate with the Commercial team (Customer Experience, Sales, Pricing) to understand their needs, translate them into technical requirements, develop and deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in daily standups with the internal customer and the internal Salesforce team.
- Develop Salesforce solutions based on the priorities received and deploy solutions in production if required.
- Provide guidance to the external development teams and providing technical direction if required.
- Ensuring adherence to project/sprint timelines and quality standards.
- Conduct regular code reviews and technical assessments to ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality deliverables.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates, features, and industry trends to continuously improve and innovate solutions.
What are we looking for?
- Core Salesforce Certifications (including Admin, Sales, Service, CPQ, Professional Developer 1/2) and CPQ/RLM
- Demonstrate Communities Development – HTML5, LWC, CSS and web development skills (React, Ruby on Rails, Drupal).
- Demonstrate Salesforce Development, including APEX Controllers and Triggers, Batch processing, Integration, APIs, SOQL, SOSL, Visualforce Pages, and Lightning Web Components.
- A good knowledge of Salesforce Security & Best Practices.
- Ability to understand continuous deployment and basic DevOps tools such as Jenkins, BitBucket and documentation tools such as Confluence.
- Proficiency in Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Knowledge of Aura Components
- Proficiency in Apex programming
- Strong integration skills
