Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication

Boral is seeking a motivated Apprentice Boilermaker/Welder to join the dynamic Stonyfell Workshop team. This is a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects that will distinguish you from others in the field.

This is a full-time apprenticeship, requiring a minimum of 38 hours per week. Compensation will align with the relevant award unless otherwise specified.

We’re looking for a candidate who is passionate about the industry, has a clear understanding of what a boilermaking apprenticeship entails, and possesses the aptitude and enthusiasm to excel in a hands-on learning environment.

Your day will involve: 

• Perform precise engineering measurements.
• Learn and apply a variety of welding and fabrication techniques on steel projects of varying sizes.
• Carry out cutting and grinding tasks with accuracy.
• Repair, replace, or modify fabrications as required.
• Use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Benefit from the guidance of dedicated mentors in a supportive workshop environment to help you successfully complete your apprenticeship.
