Boral’s Quarry business is seeking a self-driven Maintenance Planner to join our Victorian Quarries team.
This role will focus on planning the Victorian Quarries Preventative and other Planned Maintenance works and custodian of accurate asset records within the Maximo Asset Management computer system. In addition, the role assists the site based multi-disciplinary teams with technical support and training.
Your day will involve:
As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating and planning maintenance activities across our regional quarries.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Lead the maintenance planning and execution of assigned mandatory preventative maintenance (PM) work orders by liaising between site maintenance staff and maintenance service contractors in alignment with Boral’s National preventative maintenance schedules.
- Preparing maintenance plans for review and agreement with maintenance supervisors and operations teams within specified timeframes to support production planning requirements.
- Ensuring timely completion of regulatory maintenance activities, including the collation and review of maintenance service reports and compliance documentation.
- Track planned vs actual performance of work order management including schedule compliance and R&M costs.
- Conducting formal monthly planning review meetings with Quarry sites to track work order management performance and provide support where required.
What are we looking for?
- Hands-on experience in leading and planning maintenance activities, preferably within a heavy industry involving either fixed or mobile plant.
- Experience in a maintenance planning role.
- Understanding the governance and protocols of purchasing, issuing & maintaining spare parts inventory.
- Understanding of maintenance regulatory requirements.
- Proficient skills in the Microsoft Suite and a sound understanding of computerized maintenance management systems such as Maximo or similar.
