Due to continual growth within the business, we are looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join the Stonyfell team on a permanent basis. The primary focus of this hands-on role will be to carry out maintenance and repair of all mobile plant, including scheduled maintenance and servicing throughout Boral quarries. This is an opportunity to work in a close and growing team environment with a multi-national organisation dedicated to the safety of its employees.

Your day will involve:

• Undertaking and completion of scheduled maintenance, servicing, repairs, breakdowns and general fleet maintenance.
• Conducting thorough inspections of vehicle to identify potential issues and prevent future problems
• Completion of all necessary paperwork - maintenance checklists, work orders, service reports.

What are we looking for?

• Heavy diesel mechanical trade qualification.
• High focus on Safety, accessing risk and putting appropriate control in place
• Experience working on and servicing Heavy plant and equipment.
• Experience in hydraulics, electrical and pneumatics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Previous experience in the mining or quarry industry
• Drivers Licence
