We are actively seeking a driven Rail Terminal Supervisor to join our team at Maldon.  As a critical member of our site, you will be responsible for overseeing daily rail and truck operations, leading a diverse team of dedicated operators and advocating safe work practices. Reporting to the Rail Operations Manager, you will ensure the efficient and productive operation of the Maldon Terminal.  

This role will suit a solutions focused individual dedicated to safety, with a genuine interest in the day-to-day management and challenges of supervising the Terminal. This is a permanent opportunity offering full-time hours across Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm.   

Your day will involve:

• Daily supervision of employees and contractors 
• Ensuring compliance with Boral’s safety and environment management systems 
• Influencing and promoting a positive safety culture across all operations 
• Delivery of daily toolbox talks and shift handover reports 
• Coordinating quality control and stock inventory  
• Coordinating mechanical maintenance  

What are we looking for?

• Proven leadership experience at a supervisory level  
• Operational background
• Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures and initiatives 
• Strong problem-solving abilities  
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
