Your next opportunity:
Due to continued growth across our business, we now have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Victorian Asset team in Port Melbourne, VIC 3207.
This role will see you responsible for delivering electrical projects, managing electrical audits and works programs, plant reliability, efficiency improvement initiatives, and general engineering / technical support across the various Victorian sites.
Your day will involve:
- Undertake and co-ordinate electrical audits and inspections
- Coordination of works arising from audits
- Develop/ maintain scope documents for periodic electrical maintenance and inspections
- Undertake energy audits and RCA’s for electrical incidents
- Work with sites on energy reduction actions and projects
- Coordination of change management processes for plant electrical drawings & of change management processes for plant PLC & SCADA programs
- Management of electrical projects from initiation and feasibility assessments through implementation, commissioning and closeout
- Plant automation works and process studies targeted at OEE improvements
What we are looking for:
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years proven experience working in a similar environment
- Experience in Site Supervision of multiple trades/contractors
- Ability to read electrical schematics, cable schedules and P&IDs
- Understanding of PLC programmes, systems and hardware
- Ability to manage, influence and build rapport with stakeholders from a variety of functions to effectively manage works
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills
