The primary objective of this role is to deliver asset care and planning for safe, compliant, reliable and best cost outcomes for Boral’s 30 concrete sites in South East QLD, covering maintenance and capital activities in fixed plan and heavy mobile equipment. This role is to ensure that maintenance and capital systems, processes and activity are implemented, maintained and continuously improved on to ensure the availability and reliability of Boral’s operations to meet forecast production volume requirements.
Your day will involve:
Planning and execution of inspection and maintenance work to support reliable delivery to our customers, via the maintenance team and external contractors
Ongoing improvement in plant availability and efficiency of spend, in conjunction with the Operations team
Planning and control of capital works rolling on a 5 year basis
Management of staff and key stakeholders in the delivery of maintenance and capital projects
What are we looking for?
Demonstrated experience in maintenance and capital management and planning (or similar) and people leadership with exposure to a multi-site, heavy/industrial business.
Proficiency with maintenance management systems, ideally Maximo, including annual maintenance plan development/budgeting, trend analysis and improvement planning
Maintenance contractor and spare parts Vendor management
Project management expertise
Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders
