Are you passionate about innovation, materials science, and high-end testing? Boral is seeking a Development Engineer to support technical excellence and quality assurance in our R&D and testing operations.
As a Development Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing construction materials testing methodologies and mix designs. You’ll contribute to industry-leading research and development and support customer-facing initiatives.
Your role:

Lead and support high-end concrete testing, including durability and lifespan assessments

Collaborate with internal teams on trial mixes and lab testing methods

Stay ahead of industry trends in testing, including non-destructive techniques

Provide technical support to clients and internal stakeholders

Manage one direct report and facilitate knowledge transfer within the lab
About you:

Strong background in materials science or materials engineering

Experience in concrete mix design, admixtures, grouting, or consultancy

Familiarity with industry standards and testing protocols

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
