We are seeking a site-based Environment and Stakeholder Advisor to coordinate the environmental planning approvals and environmental management systems for Boral's Peppertree Quarry, Marulan and provide secondary support to the adjacent Marulan South Limestone Mine. Taking the lead in relation to engaging with government agencies, the local community and other relevant stakeholders for day-to-day site matters, this role will provide valuable stakeholder management experience.
Your day will involve:
Providing support and advice to Peppertree Quarry Management Teams, staff and contractors to enable conditions of consent, the Environment Protection Licence and manage expectations of stakeholders.
Acting as the first point of contact for community groups as well as the Sites Community Consultative Committees.
Providing regular updates to the mine management teams on the progress of continuous improvement, assurance and compliance activities through the use of the Environmental Permit Planner and compliance reporting.
Overseeing an environment operating budget and a capex budget as required for environmental works.
Assisting in the delivery of the production strategy for Peppertree Quarry.
Coordinating the implementation of environmental monitoring programs, including: blasting, noise, air quality, surface and groundwater as well the implementation and review of Environmental Management Plans.
Carrying out audits of the site Environmental Permit Planner and inspections of site operations to assess compliance with systems, management plans, planning approvals and statutory obligations.
Coordinating the collection and interpretation of Indigenous and European heritage information, including regular communication with relevant indigenous and community stakeholders.
Liaising with and reporting to the Regulator.

What are we looking for?
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental management or related fields, including Natural Resource Management, Engineering or Science;
Full drivers licence;
Experience in a similar role (preferably within the mining or extractive industry or within a consulting environment);
Demonstrated experience in the implementation of environmental policy, systems, plans and programs;
