We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Assistant to support our Regional Queensland Concrete & Quarries business. In this highly collaborative role, you'll be the link between customers, Account Managers and operational teams, helping drive sales growth, manage customer relationships and deliver outstanding customer experience.

Working closely with our sales team, you'll manage a portfolio of customers, identify new business opportunities, generate qualified leads and ensure sales activities are coordinated efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to develop their career within a leading construction materials business.

 

Your day will involve:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of tail customers across Regional Queensland through proactive engagement and relationship building.
  • Identifying sales opportunities, re-engaging dormant customers and uncovering new business opportunities.
  • Qualifying inbound enquiries and web leads, generating opportunities and supporting Account Managers in converting sales.
  • Executing outbound calling campaigns, prospecting activities and customer follow-up to drive business growth.
  • Maintaining accurate customer, project and opportunity information within Salesforce CRM and supporting reporting activities.
  • Providing sales administration support, customer account maintenance and leave coverage across the broader sales team.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in internal sales, customer service, sales support or a similar customer-focused role.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of attention to detail, organisation skills and confidence working across multiple systems and applications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using Salesforce CRM or similar systems will be highly regarded.
  • A proactive, self-motivated team player who enjoys identifying opportunities and contributing to business growth.
