Based in Stonyfell, we are looking for a responsible and driven individual to join our team as a Concrete Laboratory Technician! This role reports to the Lab Manager and involves undertaking tasks in relation to sampling, testing, training, supervising, maintenance of records, reporting of results for our concrete and quarry related products.
Your day will involve:
Conduct sampling of concrete samples onsite
Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
Calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
Maintain, observe, and take part in the statutory safety requirements of the Laboratory operations
Follow Inspection and Test Plans to carry out production and compliance testing and,
Maintenance of the laboratory in accordance with NATA accreditation requirements.
What are we looking for?
Experience as a concrete field tester is desirable
Experience within a construction-based trade is desirable
A commitment to safety and quality
In-depth knowledge of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data (especially with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc).
Good time management and organisational skills
An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines
Knowledge of Australian and Industry standards
Knowledge or experience in Aggregates testing an advantage
Current driver's license tool of trade vehicle provided
