Boral have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Supervisor to join our Western NSW Quarries Logistics Tipper team. You will be responsible for ensuring full compliance to internal and external regulations, policies and procedures. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity primarily based out of our Talbragar (near Dubbo) Quarry.

Your day will involve:

• Overseeing company and contractor drivers including workforce management such as recruitment and leave
• Overseeing medicals and on boarding of Drivers
• Ensuring safety through Toolbox Talks, inspecting customer sites and managing CoR compliance and breaches
• Undertaking Heavy Vehicle inspections
• Investigating incidents and accidents
• Resolving public queries and complaints
• Utilisation of company assets and P&L oversight
• Stakeholder engagement with central allocations team

What are we looking for?     

• A current and valid Drivers License
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and NHVAS regulations
• Background in Logistics/ Transport, Supply Chain/ Manufacturing 
• Genuine interest and commitment towards learning and development
• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or Management is desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage time and competing priorities within fast paced environments
• Good technological skills with the ability to learn new systems (Excel, telematics, payroll systems, etc.)
