We’re offering a full-time Mechanical Apprenticeship for a motivated individual ready to start a rewarding trade career in a dynamic industrial environment at our Maldon site, near Picton.
This is an expression of interest for Boral Cement’s 2026 Apprenticeship intake. Shortlisted candidates can expect to be contacted from July 2025. Those progressing will be invited to attend an assessment day at Maldon in late July 2025.
Mechanical Apprenticeship
As a Mechanical Apprentice, you'll work with experienced tradespeople maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment such as pumps, conveyors, and mechanical systems at our cement plants. You’ll also be enrolled in a TAFE Mechanical Engineering course, combining classroom learning with practical, on-the-job experience.
What You'll Learn:
Maintenance and installation of mechanical systems
Fault-finding and troubleshooting
Hands-on work with industrial machinery
Safety procedures and technical reporting
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for hands-on work and problem-solving
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures
Completion of Year 10 or higher (Maths/Science preferred)
