Entry level opportunity focusing on completion of repair and maintenance work adhering to strict safety protocols and superior company standards.

Your day will involve:

• 4 day working week (38 hours)
• Maintenance of a wide range of fixed plant equipment including conveyors, mills, crushers, dust collectors, pneumatic & hydraulics systems
• Undertaking preventative maintenance and defect repairs
• General plant maintenance duties
• Acting as a relief for other work in line with your skills and competence
• Compliance with Boral's Workplace Health and Safety requirements
• Developing and maintaining effective professional relationships with the production and electrical teams

What are we looking for?

• Relevant mechanical trade qualifications. Minimum Cert III in Engineering Mechanical Trades.
• Forklift licence, EWP, WAH (Working at Heights), forklift and overhead crane permits would be advantageous
• Relevant industrial manufacturing experience.
• Some knowledge of all plant operations, products, processes and services (desirable)
• Knowledge of Maintenance work plans & procedures.
• Exposure to maintenance computer systems. (desirable)
• Some working knowledge and experience on OHSE & Quality policies and systems.
