This critical role is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales and pricing data across our Quarries business. By providing actionable insights and supporting our national pricing strategies, you’ll help enhance decision-making and drive improvements in overall sales productivity.
Sales Data & Insights:
Analyse and report on sales performance, market segmentation, and market share.
Support the CM&C Sales and Marketing Excellence Program by building standardised reporting systems and dashboards.
Develop and track key sales and pricing performance indicators.
Pricing & Margin Management:
Deliver meaningful price and margin analysis across multiple sales channels and product lines.
Identify business-critical pricing metrics and evaluate performance using analytical models.
Provide advice and support in implementing best practice pricing strategies.
Market & Competitor Intelligence:
Support pricing strategy development through the collection and analysis of market and competitor intelligence.
Assist with price increase strategies through effective use of data models and tools.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with internal control policies and data integrity standards.
Maintain documentation and governance processes across pricing systems and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel skills (Power BI or other visualization tools a bonus).
Experience in sales, commercial or pricing analysis within a complex, data-rich environment.
Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience in large matrixed organisations or within the construction/building materials industry will be highly regarded.
