Your next opportunity  

Join Boral’s Procurement Team and support category strategy across the national carter portfolio of Lorry Owned Drivers (LODs) and Multi Fleet Operators (MFOs). Reporting to the Category Lead Carters, you will strengthen supplier management, commercial governance and network efficiency.

Your day will involve:

  • Owning commercial and governance support for new carter contracts development, current agreement renewals, compliant rate cards and pricing models.
  • Maintaining supplier segmentation and develop supplier relationship management plans across business segments, asset classes and supplier types.
  • Monitoring transport cost drivers, market conditions, industry trends, labour availability to identify supplier rationalisation and network efficiency opportunities.
  • Leading or supporting RFQs, tender negotiations, rate reviews market benchmarking and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assisting with delivery and deployment of national and regional spend and supplier management strategies for the respective categories and manage end-to-end procurement process for programs/projects.
  • Preparing spend insights, KPI/SLA scorecards and performance reporting, while guiding stakeholders on procurement process, compliance and controls.

What are we looking for? 

  • A tertiary qualification with a sound understanding of procurement, contract management and supplier performance management.  
  • Relevant experience in a large, multi-site organisation ideally across transport, logistics or supply chain.
  • Clear, professional communication with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Strong commercial judgement, stakeholder communication, analytical capability across supplier cost data.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as Tableau or similar platforms.
