Primarily based at one of our Metro Quarries, the business is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented Quarry Support Manager to join the Team. Reporting to the operations manager, the focus of the role is to support the operational teams in delivering improved operational effectiveness with a rigorous focus on optimising the efficiency and utilisation of fixed and mobile assets whilst standardising processes.

A proven ability to drive operational results through influencing others will be critical to the success of this role.

Your day will involve:

• Working with quarry managers to review operational performance, identifying and tracking improvement opportunities and reviewing their effectiveness
• Working across different business functions including safety, asset management, finance to benchmark and develop business cases
• Standardising operational activities across multiple sites
• Mentoring up and coming operational leaders
• Providing operational coverage for Quarry Managers
• Conducting route cause analysis investigations
• Developing and presenting business cases for investment or change to improve performance

What are we looking for?

• An operational leader with a proven track record of delivering operational improvements
• The drive and passion to influence others
• Quarry management or mining experience
• Strong communication and data analysis skills
• Full Drivers Licence
