Based in Northern NSW, we are seeking a responsible, organised and experienced leader to join our team as an Asphalt Regional Manager. In this role, you will lead a diverse portfolio of operational teams and departments to optimise performance, drive safety excellence, and deliver strong commercial outcomes for the business.

Your day will involve:

• Representing Boral Asphalt as the senior management representative in the region
• Developing strategic solutions that support both short‑term performance and long‑term business sustainability
• Leading and driving HSEQ strategies, initiatives and standards
• Managing asphalt and spray seal operations across the region while integrating with other regions and states
• Overseeing key business functions including safety performance, financial management, production/manufacturing, technical standards, plant utilisation, sustainable maintenance, estimating and project delivery
• Maintaining and strengthening relationships with regional customers, ensuring exceptional service and delivery consistency
• Leading personnel management with a focus on capability development, upskilling and succession planning
• Preparing and reviewing safety, financial, quality and environmental reports to maximise key business outcomes

What are we looking for?

• An intrinsic drive to succeed, bringing energy, direction and confidence to the business, team and customers
• Strong management experience, with the ability to lead contracting teams, develop people and influence outcomes across a large operational workforce
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting and commercial performance management
• Engineering degree desirable, or equivalent technical experience in construction, civil, asphalt or related industries
• A strong commitment to Zero Harm and demonstrated safety leadership behaviours
• Asphalt and spray sealing industry experience highly regarded, but not essential
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with personnel and customers
• A proactive, solutions‑focused leader committed to delivering results aligned with team and business objectives
