An opportunity exists to join our Quarries Team as a Trainer Assessor based at our Ormeau Quarry.  In addition to the operation of the plant and equipment and the facilitation of onsite training and assessing in-line with legislative requirements the role will also require stock control and general maintenance of the onsite equipment.

Your day will involve: 

• Compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislation, which includes participation in site safety meetings 
• Operating mobile and fixed plant 
• Complete training and assessing across a number of sites in the Brisbane Metro area 
• Complete the business training and assessment needs in-line with legislative requirements 
• Basic maintenance and plant cleaning as required  
• Labouring duties as required 

What are we looking for? 

• Quarry or mining operations experience 
• Cert IV in Training and Assessment 
• People management skills 
• Intermediate PC skill 
• Be reliable and punctual 
• Personal drive and a customer focus
