An opportunity exists to join our Quarries Team as a Trainer Assessor with coverage of circa 300 employees across 20 operational sites. This role is fundamental in maintaining our sites excellent safety standards be ensuring our people remain trained and competent. The successful candidate will need to combine their own training and assessing capability with the co-ordination of site based trainer & assessors to provide expert training in all operational aspects from HME operation to high risk work, from chain of responsibility to fitness for work. The successful applicant will need to have the ability to co-ordinate activities across a large geographical area with multiple stakeholders, have strong communication skills and good organisation.

Your day will involve: 

• Gap analysis and prioritisation of training requirements across multiple sites to meet business needs
• Co-ordinating trainer & assessors to focus on priority areas
• Delivering training and assessing across a number of sites on a variety of subject areas
• Reporting of compliance against agreed criteria

What are we looking for? 

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment 
• People management skills 
• Strong organisational skills and PC capability 
• Personal drive and a customer focus 
• Willing to travel to sites to provide training
