We are looking for a driven and experienced Account Manager to join our Quarries team, covering the Gold Coast and Northern NSW corridor. This is one of the most active construction regions in Australia, with a strong pipeline of major infrastructure projects, civil works, and residential developments. Operating in this fast-paced environment, you will play a key role in building relationships, identifying opportunities, and driving growth across the region.

This role is suited to individuals that pride themselves on building and managing a strong pipeline across both new and existing customers—identifying opportunities early through proactive discussions market insights, fostering key accounts, and unlocking growth within your current portfolio.
You’ll be just as comfortable on a construction site speaking with a Project Supervisor as you are in the boardroom presenting to Tier 1 contractors or engaging with council procurement teams.

You will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service whilst ensuring high standards are upheld and aligned with the ‘Boral Way’.

Your Day Will Involve:

  • Build and actively manage a sales pipeline across new and existing customers within the region.
  • Track upcoming project requirements, volume risk, and growth opportunities ahead of demand
  • Proactively win new business by engaging key stakeholders and positioning Boral against project scope and specifications
  • Grow an established account base by strengthening relationships and increasing volume and product share
  • Engage across the full customer spectrum, from on-site project teams to senior stakeholders across Tier 1, infrastructure, and government
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, technical, logistics, and allocations to deliver on customer commitments
  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records across pipeline, opportunities, and account activity
  • Monitor competitor activity, project awards, and market movements to inform strategy
  • Prepare, present and close quotes and proposals
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and activity KPI’s

What We Are Looking For?

  • Minimum 5+ years’ field sales experience, ideally within quarrying, aggregates, or civil construction materials
  • Proven ability to win new business, grow existing accounts, shifting from a reactionary sales approach
  • Demonstrated capability to build and manage a structured sales pipeline, identifying opportunities and risks early
  • Experience engaging across the full customer spectrum—from site and project level to Tier 1 contractors, developers, and government procurement
  • Strong product knowledge across aggregates, road base, and civil construction applications
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills at all levels
  • Disciplined CRM user (Salesforce preferred), leveraging data to effectively manage territory and performance
  • Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage a broad, active territory independently
  • A full driver’s license and willingness to travel across the region, including occasional overnight travel
  • Strong commitment to Borals safety and environmental standards.
