We currently have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a self-motivated and highly organised Weighbridge Operator to join the Quarry team on a permanent basis.  

Reporting to the Quarry Manager, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and customer service skills that is looking to expand their career into the construction/production industry and gain skills in weighbridge operations.

You will undertake both weighbridge operation duties and administration tasks as required.

Your Day will involve:

• Weighbridge operation including the ticketing of incoming and outgoing trucks
• Manage reception at the quarry office including meet and greet, site inductions, couriers and mail handling
• Raising purchase orders, work orders, compiling spreadsheets and reports and processing dockets
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Participation in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting

What we are looking for?

• Tech savvy individual with experience in Administration duties and great attention to detail
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn operation of a Weighbridge if no prior experience – Quarry experience is not essential!
• Advanced computer skills along with well-developed organisational skills 
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team as well as autonomously
• Openness to working within a quarry site
