Are you passionate about building a sustainable future? Do you want to contribute to exciting commercial and residential infrastructure in your community? Lead and support our dynamic night shift team at Concrite’s Auburn concrete plant.   

The primary focus of this role will be to oversee night shift operations and will involve decision making, delegation of tasks and enforcing of safety rules, policies and procedures.

Your shift will involve:

  • Communicating and coordinating with fleet of agitator drivers and contractors.
  • Ordering raw material stock of cement, sand, aggregates, additive chemicals, etc.
  • Facilitate safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting. 
  • General supervision of yard housekeeping, maintenance and plant operations as required.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (customers, dispatching team, management, etc.)
  • Manage and oversee costs and raising of purchase orders.
  • Document and facilitate shift handover process.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous concrete, quarry or civil operations experience high desirable.
  • Experience in managing and supervising teams.
  • Availability to work night shift, starting from approximately 8:00pm.
  • Flexibility and willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant as required.
  • FEL licence and forklift licence will be highly regarded.
  • Commitment to a culture of safety and zero harm.
