Working at our Asphalt plant in Ballarat as a Plant Operator, you will utilize your problem solving, admin and machine operating skills to be at the heart of our production processes, ensuring that our asphalt plant runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is an entry level role for individuals with a 'go getter' attitude and an eagerness to learn the trade. Your days will involve learning the asphalt industry, learning to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, front-end loaders, bobcats, articulated trucks as well as learning to operating the RAP Plant.

This position will require someone that is open to working shift work and working early mornings.

Your Day will involve:

• Attending daily toolbox briefings
• Learning to operate heavy machinery
• Learning stockyard management and batching of orders
• undertaking courses and studies to obtain tickets for machine operations. 
• Understanding allocations and dispatching
• Working closely with laboratory team to understand asphalt quality.
• General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Upholding and following safety standards and procedures.
