Boral are currently seeking an experienced Fitter to join our team based at Teven. Reporting to the Team Leader/Supervisor you will be responsible for a range of maintenance activities including performing planned maintenance, minimising production downtime and maximising the plant efficiency. 

Your day will involve:

• Work safely in line with OH&S procedures and legislation
• Complete preventative maintenance routines and assist in the continual improvement
• Assist in maintaining the mechanical maintenance spare parts stock
• Fault find, modify and maintain crushing, screening and batching equipment across various plants
• Strip and rebuild components to the original specifications and performance
• Complete documentation to ensure plant data remains current
• Overtime may be required to supplement the maintenance effort

What are we looking for?

• Relevant fitter trade qualifications
• Experience with crushing & screening equipment preferred.
• Experience and understanding of pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics and hydraulic systems
• motivated self-starter who is results-oriented and driven to succeed
• Works in a professional manner with a “Can do” attitude
• Overtime hours may be required
