This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to learn and gain real-world experience in a laboratory environment. You'll receive on-the-job training and support as you develop the skills needed to thrive in this essential role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assisting with the sampling, preparation, and testing of asphalt and related materials
  • Recording and reporting test results accurately
  • Performing calibrations and routine checks of laboratory equipment
  • Supporting the upkeep of lab safety and quality standards
  • Maintaining laboratory records and assisting with accreditation requirements
  • Conduct field testing

  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and learning
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using software for data entry and reporting
  • Good time management and the ability to stay organised
  • Willingness to work in a team and follow instructions
  • Strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail
