Reporting to the Fleet Manager of Concrete you will have responsibility for supervising all activities of the Boral concrete agitator fleet, contractor management and driver behavior to ensure achievement of safety, operational, and compliance in accordance with Boral’s values and strategic plan.
The region that this role covers can be located on either the North or South of Brisbane dependent upon the right candidate, while covering areas from Chinderah to Bundaberg to Toowoomba.
Your day will involve:
Focus on truck availability and productivity improvements
Engage with drivers to ensure safety, monitor fatigue and compliance with Boral’s policies
Ensure budget expectations are met through proactive response to identified areas of ‘waste’ in the system
Liaise with customers and ensure efficient service and high quality products are delivered
Develop strategies for productive operating systems
Develop and maintain strategies to improve relationships with internal and external customers
What are we looking for?
Current Full C Class Driver’s License
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Oracle and Kronos)
Cost control, business improvement WHS and logistics relations including maintenance and industry
Transport and logistics experience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and follow-up on multiple concurrent tasks
