Based out of our Dandenong, we have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated batcher and a general yardman to join our high performing and committed team to work our afternoon and night shift. As the newest member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking operational duties, general yard duties and administrative tasks.

As a Plant Operator, you will be at the heart of our concrete production processes, ensuring that our plant runs smoothly and efficiently. You’ll operate and maintain machinery, monitor production metrics, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

This role does involve working shift work and working beyond midnight which will be compensated with a loading penalty.

Your Day will involve:

• Accurate batching of concrete orders using advanced systems.
• Operating front-end loaders to weigh and load materials.
• Operating a forklift to maintain general yard duties
• Managing daily administration, including stock control and reporting.
• Inspecting and maintaining plant equipment and trucks.
• General housekeeping and maintaining a safe work environment.

What we are looking for?

• A strong safety focus and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound computer skills for batching, reporting, and stock management.
• Proven experience operating a Front-End Loader and a forklift ticket
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Pro-active attitude
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision
• Availability to work shift work with flexibility to work overtime if required
