Your Next Opportunity

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, The Allocator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and dispatch of cement deliveries.

Based at our Port Melbourne head office, you will coordinate logistics, liaise with drivers, and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely, cost-effective service while delivering exceptional customer experience.

This role requires a customer-oriented individual that thrives on working in a fast paced, 24/7 environment, confidently handling high call volumes and making quick sound decisions to minimize fleet disruption and maintain operational efficiency.

Flexibility to shift patterns is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate customer deliveries across Melbourne and Regional Victoria to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders 
  • Communicate with drivers to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Monitor delivery progress and adjust allocations as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Liaise with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure high service levels.
  • Maintain accurate records and data entry in dispatch systems.
  • Promote and adhere to Boral’s safety and compliance policies.

 What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Transport allocation, or Dispatch
  • Good understanding of NHVR compliance.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience with logistics software.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and customer service.
