Your next opportunity:

Based in Roseneath, we are looking for Laboratory Technician.  Duties involve undertaking sampling of construction materials, preparation of test samples, testing and physical analysis of these samples, reporting of test results and maintenance of records.

What your day will look like:

• Some manual handling including concrete, wheelbarrow and other tools and equipment 
• Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
• Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
• Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory. 
• Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.

Skills and experience:

• Current Drivers Licence required
• A commitment to Safety and Quality.
• Well-developed skills and understanding of computer systems for monitoring and reporting of data 
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• An ability to cope with competing priorities and deadlines.
