Your next opportunity:  

As a Plant Operator, your primary responsibilities in this role will be batching of orders to specified mix designs and utilizing the docket dispatch system, the dispatch and loading of trucks, record keeping of both computer and manual entries, as well as on site quality assurance, loader and bobcat operations and participating in safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes and incident reporting.

You will champion the sites operation along with the site manager in charge, and may be given an opportunity to step into a leaders role.

Flexibility is required in starting early mornings and working until productions end for the day.

Your day will involve:

• Accurate batching of orders through Front-end Loader & Bobcat operation
• Control Room operations
• Day-to-day administration of the Plant including stock control of raw materials
• Work closely with the laboratory team
• General yard and plant housekeeping and maintenance

What we are looking for:

• Relevant batching and/or asphalt industry experience preferred but not essential
• Front End Loader expertise is favourable, however, training can be offered
• A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
• FEL ticket (desirable)
• Other tickets that would benefit are; Forklift, EWP, Confined Space
• Strong organisational skills including the ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines
