Role & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and safely operate Agitator, Tipper, Tanker trucks or Road Trains
  • Deliver high-quality materials to customer sites while providing excellent service
  • Complete required documentation for deliveries and collections
  • Collaborate with production and allocation teams to ensure smooth operations

Who Thrives in This Role?
  • HR, HC or MC Licence
  • 12 months of heavy vehicle driving experience  
  • Ability to learn and utilise telematics
  • Willingness & motivation to learn the Boral Way of operating
  • Strong commitment to safety processes and procedures
  • Availability to work overtime and Saturday as required

Frequently Asked Questions

Our sites have varying operating hours, with a mix of day and night shifts depending on plant demand. Shifts are typically full-time with rotating rosters, with the optional of weekend shifts.

*Some sites operate 24/7

Licence requirements vary by vehicle type:

  • Concrete Agitator – HR licence
  • Tippers & Tankers – HC licence
  • B-Doubles – MC licence

All applicants must also hold a valid White Card and are able to supply a driving record as part of their application.

Note: our fleet includes automatic trucks equipped with telematics technology to support safety, compliance, and efficient delivery.

 You’ll go through a formal application process, which may include:

  1. An interview
  2. A practical driving assessment (if applicable)
  3. Recruitment and background checks

Yes. All required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided as part of your onboarding.

New drivers go through a structured onboarding process that includes:

  • Working with a driver trainer
  • Buddy shifts with an experienced driver
  • Classroom-style induction covering safety, systems, and customer service

Yes! We offer clear career progression opportunities and support internal moves. Timelines vary by role and location, but we encourage development through formal and informal career pathways.

Boral driver roles are covered by Enterprise Agreements (EA) and offer competitive wages based on experience. Drivers are also eligible for overtime, allowances, RDOs, and weekend rates.
